So this weekend saw the Sheffield Christmas lights being turned on by Mel C, aka, Sporty Spice (remember the Spice Girls?) So that said, we here at the Alternative Store think its now ok, to crack open the mince pies and listen to those Christmas albums we love to hate. Its also the perfect time to talk about the treats we want, and think you may want to find in your stocking this year..... Fingers missing, what are The Hundreds playing at?? Oh whats that? They're missing for a reason? So you can text/tweet/fb even when you're wearing gloves? Ill drink (my mulled wine) to that my friend. Did you know 70% of your body heat escapes from your head? So this Tuesday some of the girls and guys from The Alternative Store went out to see some Hip-Hop theatre, courtesy of the good people at Rationale Production based here in Sheffield. It was an incredible night and we had an amazing time watching so many talented people filled with a passion for street-dance and the culture surrounding it.
